Project Overview

Tracey wanted her Manchester kitchen to feel more polished while keeping the existing layout. Joe’s Doors introduced a richer colour scheme and a lighter, marble-effect worktop to create a calm, modern space. The result is a kitchen that feels newly fitted, but achieved with a focused makeover rather than a full refit.

What We Changed

We replaced the original white slab doors with HORTON style doors in Superior Matt Indigo, bringing depth and a more contemporary character to the room. To complement the darker cabinetry, we installed Carrara Gold quartz overlays, fitted directly over existing worktops — no messy rip‑outs — for less disruption and a quicker install. The subtle veining in the quartz adds interest while keeping the overall look bright and refined.

The Result

The new indigo doors frame the kitchen and give it a tailored, built-in feel, while the Carrera Gold worktops and matching upstands brighten the space around the sink and hob. Tracey’s existing units and layout remain in place, but the combination of matt cabinetry and sleek quartz surfaces makes the kitchen look and feel completely renewed, with a smarter, more cohesive finish.
