Dale’s kitchen in Thornton-Cleveleys has been transformed from a darker gloss scheme into a calmer, modern space with more visual lightness. Classic framed fronts in a deep blue tone now sit alongside pale, marble-effect worktops, giving the room a balanced, contemporary feel. The new finishes work with the existing layout, refreshing the whole space without the need for a full refit.
We replaced the previous gloss cream and black cabinetry with new Horton doors in Matt Alby Blue. The in-frame look of Horton adds subtle detail and structure, while the matt blue finish introduces depth and character without overpowering the room.
The original wood-look worktops were upgraded to pale Vitton quartz overlays, bringing in a bright white surface with gentle grey veining that reflects light around the space. These overlays were fitted directly over existing worktops — no messy rip‑outs — for less disruption and a quicker install. The extended Vitton peninsula creates a generous, practical surface that now ties in neatly with the rest of the run.
Existing appliances, flooring and the pale grey tiled splashback were retained, allowing the new doors and worktops to do the hard work of updating the overall look.

Around the sink and hob, the pale surfaces brighten the work zones, and the grey tiles now sit comfortably between the darker cabinetry and lighter tops. Overall, Dale now has a kitchen that feels modern, refined and better suited to everyday use and entertaining.
