Rhigos Kitchen Transformation

Project Overview

Susan wanted her Rhigos kitchen to feel softer, lighter and more relaxing without changing the overall layout. By updating the cabinetry and worktops, we’ve created a calm, contemporary space that still feels warm and welcoming. The new finishes help natural light move around the room and give the kitchen a fresher, more modern character.

What We Changed

The original kitchen featured taupe gloss units with chrome handles and pale worktops. These were replaced with new Alaska-style doors in Matt Meadow Green for a smoother, more understated look, with integrated handle lines giving a streamlined, handleless-style effect. To complete the transformation, we installed White Sparkle quartz overlays around the hob, oven and sink runs, fitted directly over existing worktops — no messy rip‑outs — for less disruption and a quicker install. The gentle green cabinetry and light, subtly sparkling worktops now work together to brighten the room and create a more tranquil atmosphere.

The Result

The kitchen now feels brighter and more cohesive, with the Matt Meadow Green doors softening the overall look compared with the previous dark gloss units. The White Sparkle surfaces add a clean, reflective finish that helps the space feel larger and lighter, especially around the sink and window. Overall, Susan has gained a calm, modern kitchen with a simpler, more refined appearance and no need for a full refit.
