Claire and Charles wanted to soften the look of their Great Yarmouth kitchen without changing the layout they were happy with. By updating the doors alone, we were able to brighten the whole room, balance the darker worktops and flooring, and give the space a calmer, more modern feel.
The original kitchen featured warm wood doors which, combined with dark worktops and black floor tiles, made the space feel a little heavy. We replaced every cupboard and drawer front with sleek Alaska-style slab doors in Superior Matt White Grey, including the oven housing and units around the sink and hob.
The new matt grey finish introduces a softer, lighter tone that reflects more natural light around the room, while the simple slab profile creates clean lines and a more contemporary look beneath the stainless-steel cooker hood and along the main sink run. Existing cabinets, appliances and worktops were all retained, keeping the project focused, efficient and cost-effective.

Overall, Claire and Charles have the same practical kitchen, now with a more streamlined, contemporary character that feels easier to live and cook in every day.
