Project Overview

David wanted to soften the look of his modern kitchen without changing the layout he already found practical. By replacing the original glossy cream doors with Trenton doors in Legno Reed Green, the space now feels calmer and more refined while keeping the same footprint and appliances. The new colour works with the existing dark granite worktops and warm timber floor to create a relaxed, contemporary feel.

What We Changed

Joe’s Doors removed the existing high-gloss cream doors and drawer fronts throughout the kitchen and island, replacing them with new Trenton-style doors in Legno Reed Green. This included all base units, curved corner cupboards, wall units and the tall housing around the integrated ovens, as well as coordinating plinths and pan drawers on the island. The cabinetry layout, worktops, flooring, lighting and appliances were all retained, keeping disruption to a minimum while delivering a noticeably different look.

The Result

The new Legno Reed Green Trenton doors introduce a muted, modern character that sits comfortably alongside the dark speckled granite and oak flooring. The tall oven housing, run of base units and island now read as one cohesive feature, with the softer green finish toning down reflections and making the space feel more welcoming. Under-unit lighting highlights the clean lines of the new fronts, and David has gained a kitchen that feels newly fitted while still working exactly as before.
