Project Overview

Roger wanted to refresh his existing kitchen without changing the overall layout or cabinetry. By focusing on the worktops, we were able to give the room a much more contemporary and premium feel. The new surfaces brighten the space and create a smart contrast with his existing units and splashback.

What We Changed

Joe’s Doors replaced the original timber-look laminate with sleek Bulgaria Dark Grey quartz overlay worktops, fitted directly over existing worktops — no messy rip‑outs — for less disruption and a quicker install. The new surface runs across the U-shaped preparation area and breakfast bar, creating a continuous, hard-wearing finish that is easy to maintain and transforms how the kitchen looks and functions.
