Project Overview

Pauline’s Worcester kitchen already had a practical layout, but she wanted a softer, more contemporary look without starting again from scratch. By updating the doors to a calming green and adding brighter, reflective worktops, Joe’s Doors turned a plain space into a modern, welcoming room that still feels timeless and easy to live with.

What We Changed

The old white cabinetry was replaced with new made-to-measure Cologne-style doors in Matt Meadow Green, giving the kitchen a gentle, muted colour that works well with both light and dark appliances. These fresh fronts were paired with White Sparkle quartz overlay worktops, fitted directly over existing worktops — no messy rip‑outs — for less disruption and a quicker install. The new surfaces run seamlessly around the corner base cabinet, frame the glossy black range cooker and provide a bright, easy-clean backdrop for everyday cooking.

The Result

The Matt Meadow Green doors sit comfortably alongside the black sink and glossy range, creating a balanced contrast that feels both modern and homely. White Sparkle worktops and upstands help bounce light around the room, lifting darker elements and giving the kitchen a cleaner, more spacious feel. Glass-fronted wall units now stand out as a neat feature, with the fresh colour and bright surfaces tying the whole space together.
