Bolton Kitchen Transformation

Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Project: Full kitchen makeover with replacement doors and quartz overlay worktops
Customer: Mrs Watson

Project Overview

Mrs Watson’s kitchen in Bolton had solid oak units and dark counters that left the space feeling dated and closed-in. She wanted a modern, sophisticated look that added both depth and light without the disruption of a full refit. Joe’s Doors provided the perfect solution with bold new doors and premium quartz overlays.

What We Changed

Cabinet Doors: Installed Horton shaker-style doors in Superior Matt Indigo. The rich indigo tone adds drama and elegance, while the classic shaker lines ensure a timeless finish.

Worktops: Fitted Bulgaria Dark quartz overlay worktops. With deep marble-inspired veining, these counters create a striking contrast against the cabinetry and add a luxurious feel.

Finishing Touches: New handles and professional fitting completed the transformation seamlessly, blending function with style.

The Result

The once dated, heavy-looking kitchen has been reimagined into a bold, contemporary haven. The indigo cabinetry pairs beautifully with the dramatic quartz, creating a kitchen full of character and sophistication — all achieved with minimal disruption.
