Project Overview

Eveline wanted her kitchen to feel more refined without replacing the whole layout. By updating the doors only, Joe’s Doors introduced a calm two-tone scheme that works with her existing tiles and worktops. The result is a neater, more contemporary space that still feels familiar and practical for everyday use.

What We Changed

The original kitchen had warm wood-effect doors with curved handles, which made the room feel a little dated. Joe’s Doors replaced all cabinet doors and drawer fronts with Cologne doors in Legno Light Grey on the wall units and Legno Graphite on the base units. This introduced a subtle woodgrain texture and a smart contrast between light and dark. Handles were updated to a simple, modern style, and the new doors were aligned to create a cleaner run of units, particularly around the hob area.

The Result

The two-tone Cologne doors give Eveline’s kitchen a more tailored, balanced look. The Legno Light Grey wall units help the room feel brighter, while the Legno Graphite base units provide depth and definition around the worktops. Under-cabinet lighting now highlights the gentle woodgrain finish and the refreshed handles tie everything together. Overall, the kitchen feels smarter and more up to date, achieved simply by changing the doors and keeping the existing layout.
