Project Overview

Rebecca’s kitchen had warm timber worktops and light shaker doors that were starting to feel dated. She wanted a fresher, more contemporary look without a full refit. We fitted Vitton quartz overlays directly on top of the existing worktops and introduced Horton doors in a striking two-tone scheme — Superior Matt Marine Blue to the base units and Superior Matt White Grey to the wall units — delivering a modern, high-end finish with minimal disruption.

What We Changed

• Cabinet Doors: Horton doors in a smart two-tone: Superior Matt Marine Blue (base) and Superior Matt White Grey (wall units). The classic shaker lines feel crisp and timeless, while the colour contrast sharpens the whole layout.

• Worktops: Vitton quartz overlay worktops — bright, marble-effect veining that lifts light around the room. Overlays were templated and fitted directly on the existing surfaces for a swift, tidy upgrade.

• Finishing Touches: Belfast sink re-sealed, neat end panels and trims, and hardware aligned for a consistent, polished look.

The Result

The kitchen now reads cleaner, brighter, and more architectural. The white-grey uppers keep the space light, while the deep Marine Blue bases add depth and definition. With the fresh Vitton surfaces, it feels like a brand-new kitchen — achieved without the mess of a full renovation.
